The King’s Anchor College (KAC) was founded in September 2006, in response to the Federal Government of Nigeria commencement of the Universal Basic Education, UBE.

The college academic programs commenced with four students on the 11th of September 2006, occupying the third floor of The King’s kid school, situated on plots 1-3, Ogunfowora Estate ,Ikotun .

We had six teachers and one administrative staff personnel.

After a rigorous inspection process, The Lagos State Ministry of Education, formally gave an approval to the school in 2007.

Presently, the college occupies her own I-shaped building of approximately 90’ by 50’ feet  and 4 floors, siting on a plot of roughly 140’ by 70’ feet.

KAC has a boarding house for both boys and girls with a current population of fifty five, in a building approximately fifty feet away from the College, both within the serene and perimeter –fenced Ogunfowora Estate, located on Abaranje road, in Ikotun, Lagos. The college has in its possession another six plots of land for expansion in order to meet the growing demand.

Since conception, our academic staff has grown from six to twenty-five, with our student population growing from four to a hundred and ninety within ten years.

The school moved to her own building in 2007, with all necessities, including the Laboratories for Physics, Biology, Chemistry, the Agricultural sciences. We also have a Foods & Nutrition /Catering Craft room, Technical Lab, Fine Arts studio, Computer Laboratory and enough, spacious rooms for the classes of JS1-SS3, as well as staff rooms.

The first set of students wrote the West African Examination Council Examinations (W.A.E.C) in June 2012 and all succeeded with very good grades in all subjects.
